"The Treasure of Faith" is a practical digital guide designed for those who long for a personal experience with Christian mysticism and Marian spirituality through art. It is based on the personal experience of the artist Francis Hawie, who shares her journey of conversion through devotional painting, the doctrine of Saint Louis-Marie de Montfort, and her involvement in Legio Mariae.

This work shares a journey of spiritual search and discovery, which is not far from being an inner calling present in each of us. Following the path of devotional art dedicated to the Virgin Mary, hwo  prepares us to receive the gift and treasure of faith, allowing us to open ourselves to a path of heart healing, where the message of love is received for a new rebirth.

The artist and author of this work shares spiritual exercises of meditation and contemplation of nature, combined with simple holistic painting techniques that can be easily practiced without prior experience.

Through reflections, readings, and paintings created by the artist, we are invited into a world full of inspiration, color, and creativity, walking the path of beauty, which strengthens the soul for a renewed connection with faith in God.

Seeds of Light

Children and Teens go through a process of holistic formation that encompasses not only academic knowledge but also spirituality and personal development. Along this journey, art, faith, and creativity become essential tools for transmitting positive values and ideals, seeds of light that will guide students in their personal search for purpose and meaning in life.

Every experience shared with children through art and creativity carries a powerful force that deeply and meaningfully strengthens their sense of identity.

Holistic education in the 21st century invites us to understand students as whole beings, considering their physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions. To provide a more balanced and harmonious formation, new learning strategies must be developed, ones that create opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery.

In this sense, the workshops offered through this project, whether in schools or online group classes, are not only aimed at sharing positive values and essential virtues for life but also at fostering freedom, creativity, critical thinking, and reflection. They encourage students to explore their questions, doubts, and deeper inquiries within the context of religious education.

In this time of change, in a complex and ever-evolving world, it is essential to offer an honest pedagogy. one in which the educator is not only called to teach new concepts and information but also to be a witness of faith, especially when guiding students on their spiritual journey.

Art, Culture and Faith in Schools

A Pedagogical and Holistic Approach by Artist Francis Hawie

This proposal brings immersive painting workshops into religion classes for both primary and secondary students, using art as a way to strengthen personal development and discover the inner  talent while deepening their faith.

The approach highlights the power of painting as a creative and spiritual outlet, helping students explore their inner world, develop artistic sensitivity, and connect meaningfully with Marian tradition and Peru’s popular religious culture.

In this methodology  the educator’s role goes beyond teaching theory—they become a guide, leading students through this learning experience and promoting art as a tool for personal growth and a stronger the school community.

Through the artistic expression, students can embrace cultural values, national identity, and positive principles such as beauty, gratitude, friendship, and the rich heritage of Peruvian faith and traditions.

Group activities and reflective exercises play a key role in these workshops, allowing students to share experiences and engage in meaningful learning. This initiative also offers online classes, making it more accessible to students with different schedules.

Ultimately, this project is an opportunity to share Peru’s religious history and culture with new generations while embracing the universal language of art as a spiritual expression and emotional well-being. It encourages students to develop their talents, set positive goals, and find inspiration that can guide them in life.
